What A Week!!!

I guess it started last week with a job fair, the company was not quite ready for. They did not anticipate the volume of seekers. Any way I got a call back that very afternoon to do an assessment test, and was given a very brief review and told I would be possibly called the next week. Sure enough, I had a brief interview on Tues. and was told the job began this coming Monday. Tuesday morning the very first phone call I receive is to tell me the position has been "frozen for an indefinite amount of time". So I get dressed to go to another job fair that I was "personally invited" to attend because of my previous application and credentials. I was excited because the description and duties were actually perfect for me! Well I lasted a whole 7 minutes! I was told also not to apply to their company again for a least 6 months! The description nor the invite, did not state I had to have "X" amount of experience, even though this was EXACTLY what I was trained for they just walked me toward the door! And these were the "good" opportunities! I have applied for over 30 positions in the last few weeks and I still cannot convince anyone I'm the one they want or need, even when I come to them and they are in the middle of total chaos that I could relieve them from! I tell ya, I don't think I am designed for this world and I am not just talking about job hunting! I actually had a dream where my bishop handed me a loaded gun, which I promptly put to my head and pulled the trigger! He was trying to say "wait a minute", but it didn't matter, it didn't do anything because my brain had shrunk so much the bullet missed it! Well, just about everyone knows I have strange and bizarre dreams! Here it is past the middle of September and I really thought I would be well on my way, employed and bringing home that "mighty dollar"! Not to be!
